Jennings make the pitch to fournette on 4th and goal he scores
Misses Quinn over the middle on 3rd down and settles for field goal

I have a feeling you are watching just to see how bad AJ played.

I am not going to watch it but I really think one of the passes he skipped was tipped. Oline was dominated.

He had the pitch early, but the pitch defender did jump out eventually. At that point, Jennings had no option. He read that wrong. Hilliard would have led Fournette to an easy TD.

Amazing how a couple big plays completely change the course of the game.

It is 17-10 with 14 minutes left in the 3rd; 3rd down and long...MSU runs a tunnel screen and gets the first down....later that same drive 3rd and 3 and Dak breaks the long TD run right up the middle.

Later, Dak is scrambling around and there is a blown coverage and MSU takes it for ~70 yards on a broken play to the house.

Instantly we go from 17-10 to being down 31-10. Game changed.

Yep. Game really just came down to Dak making big plays on 3rd down.

That and us not being able to run the football.

Can we just start calling Germans whenever someone starts another refreshing AJ thread?

I saw the same thing. Not sure why we are not trying to run on the outside.

No one that watched it live needs a replay to see how badly he played.

I re watched the game from the skycam on the watch espn app & it seems our rb's do not improvise enough. They hit the assign whole then dive. I saw on many occasions if they cut back......gone. We need patient runners. They need to hit the whole when there are actual holes and stop running into the linemans backs.

He just doesnt get it done consistently. It's not a knock. But it does cause the offense to struggle

And we all know what constant struggles cause......failure

It is indecision on Jennings part. There were several instances where, had he thrown or pitched half a step earlier... Bingo. My dad always told me, what makes football is half a step.
