Retired and not so good, upon reflection.

Tape some hundred dollar bills to your shirt and run through there. You'll be amazed at the speed training you'll get.

There's an Anytime Fitness on Canal right by City Park Ave. They have a few around the city so you'll be able to use all of them, which is convenient.

LE you go to mid city martial arts? I would go there if I lived in the city. Some buddies of mine opened that up.

Burt, I'm going to piggyback off your thread

Anyone have any affordable Uptown recommendations? I've inquired with Uptown Athletic Club

There is a hardcore 24/7 gym that is 35 a month. No contracts, no a/c. The name is Body Doctors, it's on Murat and St. Louis in a warehouse by the masonry. They will let you try it for a week free.

Anytime fitness in lake view. It's only a few miles away. It's a great gym and isn't usually crowded.

The anytime near canal and Carrollton sucks. I went in their once and they either didn't have a squat rack or a bar for the squat rack.

don't belong in the same sentence. You want cheap, go to St. Charles Ave. Athletic Club.

For Mid City, 504 Fitness in the Falstaff building is good for normal heavy lifting. Bunch of power lifters workout there.
