QB Debate + Our Fans = Chaos

Sorry for those who do not want to read or see the writing on the wall.
I'm sure the craziness of the past couple of years has been brought up in the past couple of days because the "sky is falling" yet again because we lost a game with a very young team. Our fans are spoiled. Yes, very much so! We have to look back and realize that these are KIDS, not grown adults in the NFL. Some will pan out to be next level players, some will not. With that being said, it is obvious many are starting to compare the QB situation with the one we had a couple of years back with Jordan Jefferson and Jarret Lee. Guess what people, both were terrible. This go around we have two YOUNG QBs that both have not much expierence and need time to grow. On one hand you have a QB who has been in the system longer and he has done what the coaches want him to do. Whether he has the better talent/potential/upside, it doesnt matter. He is the guy that puts LSU in the best scenario to win. On the other hand you have a very hyped up QB from Lousiana that many would love to see play. He has done great in mpp up time and against lesser oppoonents. We cannot freak out and continue to see what is taking place though.
Miles and Cameron both are putting a short leash on AJ when he is in the game. This has been done for years under Miles. He rather not have our offense cough up the ball and would rather rely on old school running the ball and playing tough defense. This is the philoophy. If you watch a game there is no reads for the QBs. Its 1 read every time. There is no progression for the QB. Its throw it to this guy and if its not there take the sack or make a play. This is what tends to make the QB look bad. Especially make our O-Line look horrible because they are being put in a bad situation. The Coaches need to open up the playbook and not play scared. Let the kids play. In a perfect world Brandon Harris would have redshirted this year. The kid has talent out of the roof! But, he is 170 at best? After 1 year in our system and gaining all the knowledge he could come in 20 lbs heavier and built to dominate the SEC. The future is bright and the kid needs to shut it. The team doesnt need a ME ME ME person in this situation. There is alot of Football left to play and anything can still happen, but brandon harris, LSU fans, and the rest of Tiger Nation needs to relax and hope the Coaches shake things up.
And please LSU fans stick around for SEC home games. I understand shitty non conference games, but wtf? giving up on our team during an SEC game. Pathetic!

I'm glad we lost Rivers. The thought of him being in the mix is horrifying.

agree rivers would have brought nothing to this team. he transferred a year too late.
Jarrett Lee also should have transferred earlier on in his career with the Tigers.
QB managing has been poor. Mett was the prototypical QB that Cameron could gel into. If Mett had 1 more year with LSU he would have been in Heisman discussions and definitely would have went down as one of the greatest. Unfortunately we got Mett on rental for the final years of his college career.

A bit didactic and somewhat apologetic, as if to pretend the present situation has nothing but merit. But no, it doesn't.

I dont think this is as much of a BH vs AJ debate as it is the LSU fans being dissapointed with Miles's decesion making year after year.
BH is a clearly more talented but lacks experience. While Anthony Jefferson does have some experience is outings were never impressive (esp the bowl game).
If Alabama and A&M can lose their experienced starters and still manage to have a QB that can excel theres no excuse for LSU to not be there with them.
If Anthony Jefferson and Welter start this week I cant imagine us beating Auburn, bama, A&M, Ole Miss, or even Florida. Were looking at a 7 or 8 win season and we have a right to be upset with Miles hes a huge disapointment.
Bring in Harbough and we have a shot at the NC game in two years when this recruiting class are juniors.

you are pathetic, and its fans like you that are terrible, c'mon man

Didn't read anything you posted but the last sentence, but no I will continue to leave early or give my tickets away given the current condition. Missing traffic and getting the wife home early greatly outweighs this over blown notion that we have to "support the team til the final whistle"

Nothing to do with talent just Miles's love for being stubborn. I love lsu football and just want them to succeed. Honestly thought we had championship talent last year but miles never fails to disappoint

For an SEC home game, yes I expect this and I think everyone around the country who tunes in to watch LSU play thinks shite of us when they see it.
As far as a game like this weekend, I dont expect it. I will probably leave at the beginning of the 4th quarter or mid 4th depending on how the game is going. Love to see some young talent get some good reps.
