I like my interior staying fresh in my truck and am looking for a good leather cleaner/conditioner for my seats. They're tan and the edge of the bolster is turning a light blue from my jeans getting in and out. Is anyone familiar with the Chemical Guys stuff? I'll hang up and listen

I don't want anything oily that's gonna make me slide around and blind me with sheen. Just a good cleaner/conditioner that won't destroy my seats.

Was it you who left an ice chest in their truck and it stunk it all up?

Man, that's tough.

Try saddle soap first. It's gentle and won't remove the dyed color of the leather. Try a little bit first on a clean, white rag to be sure. Continually turn rag to a clean surface.

Check out Chemical Guy's detailing website. My buddy who details professionally uses all their stuff.

For GOD's sake do NOT get armour-all! It is absolutely the worst thing you can put on any piece of your interior.

Adam's Polishes Leather and Interior Cleaner to clean it and Adam's Polishes leather conditioner to keep it conditioned.

Another one I would also suggest is Ammo LatherInterior Cleanser and Ammo MousseInterior Conditioner.

When you think that someone is bragging when they mention leather seats, it says a lot about you

This is what I'm leaning towards. I used armour all on my old jeep and it seems like it dried out the leather a lot.

You can't go wrong with CG. They make damn fine products. My friend uses their products on everything he does from Honda Civics to Lambo Murcielagos.

Armour-All is basically a shiny oil. Yea, it'll "protect" your stuff from water but only because water and oil and don't mix. And to strip it, you have to use Dawn dish soap, which is a very strong degreaser. I helped strip the A-A out of an Audi A7 and it took a lot of color with it. The brown leather looked pretty dull on the doors when done.

I'm telling you. Just get a bottle of Woolite and a microfiber cloth and get to scrubbing. I clean my wife's leather seats once a month with it. It's what my dad always used and he used to sink a ton of money into restoring classic cars. It works and won't harm the leather at all.
