Want to get something better than standard iPhone earbuds for gym.

Are beats really worth $90 comparatively?

Shure se215
you are welcome

they are comfortable, will stay in your ears and isolate extremely well

they aren't "noise canceling," but they don't need to be. you wont hear anything else

you were talking about looking at the beats in the OP for $90, so I assumed you were thinking about expanding your budget.

If you take care of your shite and are sure you wont lose or break them, then I highly recommend the se215. They are so much better than anything you will find under $50,$100, or even $150

Sheep post.

Beats are overpriced trash.

Go to an audiophile website to find your answer.

I have a $8-10 pair of skull candy buds from tj maxx that I mow the yard/run with and they work great. I can hear clearly over the mower, what more do you need?

$23 solution that can't be bested IMO.

Monoprice 8320 for $8

The tips that come with the Monoprice are garbage. Replace the tips with Comply foam

Comply T-400 Foam Tips $15 (3-pack)

edit: looks like I was the 3rd one to recommend these monoprice earphones. But they're very ordinary until you change the tips. Definitely worth the upgrade.

I read this article on the Verge recently and bought these buds on Amazon for under 15 bucks based on their recommendation. I have been very happy with them.

I ordered the mono price earbuds for less than $8. Just got them in, not too bad for $8 for a gym pair to knock around. Trying to see if I can deal with the bud piece enough to get by. I know someone suggested replacing them
