I didn't like Damien's song at all. There seemed to be no repetition at all to the song. Just seemed like random notes everywhere. He hit the notes, but there was a reason that we hadn't heard the song before.

Craig Wayne Boyd's song was a little better, but I think it's easier for country songs to sound good. I feel like Matt is gonna have an awesome one. I wish Taylor John was still around because he would probably sing something he actually wrote.

I like Leon Russell's version, though there are some bad versions from him out there. There's one with Leon, Ray Charles and Willie Nelson.

I thought CWB was very good, but not great.

I loved Adam and Chris.

I like the last half of Matt much more than the first half.

Big reason why I was hoping he would make it to the finale.

Blake and CWB were just okay. I love the Elton John song. The contestants aren't singing so much in these duets. Adam is damn good. Damien didn't get to sing much. Neither did Chris.

Chris was just fantastic with his last song. That guy's improvement has been so impressive and I've said that before. He could win and with that performance, he earned it. I think I'll buy that song. I loved it.

Another great duet from Adam. This time with Matt. Damn.

CWB had a moving performance. I got a bit teary eyed even though I didn't just love it. We'll have to see if the country vote comes out bigger than Adam's fans and the teeny girls.

Did I miss something about CWB traveling with Blake on tour? I just heard Creepy Carson say something like that, but I've ff'd and wrapped gifts during some of this.

Damien's song was well performed, but it wasn't a winning performance compared to the other two on his team. I really like Damien and his voice, but I don't think he wins. I think he could be 4th.

All I know is Matt's original song was by far the best out of the 4. It was unbelievable.

Chris was fantastic again. I'm behind. Matt's up next.

I love Rainbow. Matt did a great job with it. I think Chris beat Matt overall, though.

Chris
Matt
CWB
Damien

That's my order based on tonight's performances. I don't know if the country vote will beat out the Adam's peeps votes. As far as winning, I'm thinking Chris or CWB.

Chris was never in my line of sight until the last few weeks when he clearly stepped it up. He brought it. I don't see him coming in last.

Well, Saints football pre-empted The Voice on WDSU tonight. I've been up since 5 am this morning and I'm not staying up straight until 2am to watch the "replay". GG, I'm going to take a little nap, but I'll leave the light on for you. You know where the key is. Just come on in and wake me up at 1:30 or so.

He was by far the worst tonight, from original song to that awful Cry Me A River performance.

I've been watching the Saints also. I like to see a nice win for a change.

I don't like to relive nightmares, so I'll pass. You just never seem to get over me leaving you. Your pain is my happiness.

I'm watching intermittently when the Saints game gets bad (like when Chicago has the ball ).

I thought the original songs were okay. I didn't really think anybody really blew me away with theirs, but I was sort of humming Matt's Wasted Love a little bit after I watched it.

But I guess it beats their whole "do your best performance from the season" thing they usually do.

I can do way without the contestant/coach performances. They're so boring to me for whatever reason. I did get excited when I was FFWDing cuz I thought Matt and Adam were doing More Than Words, but they weren't. :(

I really just dislike Chris. I hope he comes in last. As for a winner, I guess I'm hoping for Damien, but I feel like it should probably be CWB. I like Matt but he doesn't deserve to win IMO.

Carson's interview with Danielle Bradbury was so hilariously awkward.

Weirdly, for the finals, I wasn't really blown away by anybody.

This. Minus the hoping for Damien, I'm hoping for CWB and think he'll win it deservedly so.

Matt's last song the Rainbow one, was just so conservative, and then at the end he had to hit that high note and was completely off key, it was just awful. Should cost him dearly.

I think he did a great job with it, but I agree with you on the conservative part. I thought it was a poor choice at this point. I think it may have put him out of contention. It helped Chris in my opinion.

I don't get the Chris hate. I thought he sounded fantastic last night, in all three performances. His duet with Adam was very enjoyable. So was Matt's duet with Adam.

I think Matt will probably win, but I hope Chris does. Matt's ending of Over the Rainbow did NOT knock it out of the park. At. All.

I like Rainbow, so I enjoyed that performance by Matt, but I agree that it was far from knocking it out of the park. I loved his duet with Adam.

I thought Chris was great in all of his performances to the extent that he put himself in a position of winning.

Out of these 4, I don't dislike any of them and I'm okay with any of them winning, when you get down to it. They've all had a good season at different points in the competition, though I believe Chris bloomed later in the season than anyone.

Damn y'all hating on my boy McAndrew. No one can touch him IMO but I was surprised with the last song choice. Wasted Love was the best song of the night

Cry Me A River was awful

No one is hating on Matt. Wasted Love was quite good. It'll be interesting to see who gets more votes than the others as they start eliminating. I guess iTunes factors in there, too, though.

The point is America can't knock someone for "missing a note" as someone suggested

He's been at the top of the field for the last 3-4 weeks. Plus he's the most real dude there. Chris and Craig are fake and terribly unoriginal

When Matt is performing, I enjoy it, so there's no hate there. I just like Chris better, but they are my top two.

A few weeks ago Damien sang a song that I thought was a really dumb choice (can't recall what it was). I run hot and cold with him.

CWB ... for some reason I am not affected by him when he sings. During a rehearsal, he mentioned a "signature move" he was going to do. I think that's what bothers me about him. I never think he's really feeling the words to the song, but just performing. I have no criticism of his voice.
