Has nothing to do with players. LSU 17, Bama 14 with 1:35 left inside Bama red zone. Miles can win the game by going for a first down, he runs the ball 3 times and misses the field goal. Think about Clemson or 1/9/2012 as well.

Didn't know he played RB or kicker.

Miles ditched hill in 4th qtr vs Clemson

If Miles can not run the ball 70s style vs a top 25 team he has little to offer and loses the game unless defense bails him out.

Weve been over this, people were pissed we ran it against bama, then pissed when we passed against clemson in similar situations. The fan base will never be happy.

And will happen again. Miles will never change, and we're stuck with him.

We had an RB averaging 10 ypc against Clemson and just needed to run the clock. We passed three times and lost the game.
Against Bama, Mett was having the game of his life (and our WRs were killing Bama). One completion and the game was over. We lost that one too. But the Clemson decision was much worse considering how much of a no-brainer it was.

could you remind me how many yards passing and receiving our QB and top 2 WRs had last year?
thanks...'preciate it

Frankly, I believe is his ego..like he was still the one playing and sating, I CAN DO THIS.
Would we have ever known that Harris can actually play unless Jennings had gotten hurt ?
..not saying he is better, but we were surely lead to believe that he could not yet play.
I think Miles plays the QB HE CAN BEST CONTROL..
remember a little QB with a perfect record in one season, but threw an interception, hardly to ever see any action again.
We have so much speed and yet we tried to ram things up the middle, even when it is obvious that that is not working after 3 tries.

Hill is the answer.

JC Copeland blew that Alabama game in 2012 with his stupid late block/hit. That took away first and goal to potentially go up 24-13. He always screwed up when we couldn't afford it.

That explains everything. Les Miles is a cylon.

Not going to start a thread, but I just read some cliffs from the les miles show or whatever it is.
He said something along the lines of the linebackers weren't in position...? Welter has one fricking job. One. It's to lineup the defense because we know he's not tackling anybody. They've done nothing but rave about how he lines the defense up so well. I'm done defending Miles and Chavis. They both need to get their shite together. I won't say anything about Cam because it's obvious this isn't his offense.

and in both those games the defense shat the bed with the game already won.

If we lose 5 or 6 games and Michigan comes calling again (or arky ) we need to let his arse walk this time, but you are sadly right, we will go 6-6 and give him a big raise.

I was pissed we ran it against Bama, and glad we threw it against Clemson.
