WHY?
It is a great gun in .38 and .357. I own a .38 LCR and wish I would have waited a year to get the .357. The wife carries it daily though and loves it.

what's the point? I guess 9mm is cheaper to shoot than a .38 but I can't imagine that gun would be very fun to shoot.

Some people like to have all handguns in same caliber.
I once thought that, until I couldn't find a single round of 9mm ammo during the ammo craze last year.

If they make the cylinder the same length as the .357, that's a lot of travel in the cylinder before the bullet hits the forcing cone.
If they make this a 9mm that can also shoot .357 Magnums..... that would be a badass revolver.
They have that with the Blackhawk revolvers, but it requires swapping out the cylinders.

I think I still prefer the LCRx. You get the hammer and an aluminum frame.

I remember an article in Popular Science a number of years ago about a revolver that could shot 9mm, .38Spl, .380, .357 Mag. Anyone else recall seeing this? Apparently, it never gained any widespread audience.

I wish the Ruger LCR 22 mag would be 8 shot instead of 6 shot.
