No more than that but depends on the layout

My general rule of thumb is 100/Hunter. I guess it depends on the terrain & what you're hunting...woodlands, planted timber, hardwoods, swamp etc

Depends on the shape of the property and the vegetation on the surrounding property...

All depends on the layout.

50 acres in west Texas is nothing, 50 acres of hardwood in a long strip surround by agriculture fields and cutover is something else...

It's about 50/50 hardwoods/clear cut

And 50 acres of mountain land, if you flattened it out, is like 150 acres of deep South land.

I wouldn't hunt more than one on it for the majority of the hunts. Two hunters from time to time may be ok but I'd be real concerned with pressing the deer off off the property.
Others here have made good points as it does depend on population of surrounding deer, layout of the property, the property's habitat, and how often your are hunting it.

Depends on layout. On our texas lease its one per 350 acres.

50, one per acre.

Where I hunt has several separated tracts of land. 50 acres in one spot. Could maybe hunt two, but only ever hunt one stand. Another has 300 acres and you can hunt a lot more per acre due to the layout. You just have to be aware of the layouts and shooting lanes when you're that close.

2 can hunt it not problem. We had a 50 acre track we hunted 3 but it was long and narrow.

As others pointed out. It all depends on joining lands. How much pressure there is. The lay out if the land is running north/south or east west. Bow hunting or gun hunting. 50 ac even with hard bottom woods, no more then 1 hunter.

We hunt 4 and sometimes 5 on 80 acres, but are surrounded by lots of land that's not hunted or lightly hunted. We're also bordered by the interstate on the south side. We mostly hunt the edges, so it seems much larger. It's also so thick that you can barely see more than 20 yards in most places. We consistently kill 8-10 deer per year, so as was stated before, it really depends on the terrain and surrounding properties.

Depending on weapons used safety becomes an issue when you add more hunters. Bow only is the way to go for higher density of hunters. A buddy and I hunted a 12ac track on opposite sides and never had a problem
