We won't say names but against two running teams Wisconsin and Miss St.

Whisky game
1 solo 5 assisted= 6 tackles

Moo st.
1 solo 4 assisted= 5 tackles

Not showing hate but stats don't lie.

I think I saw his backup make more solo tackles in consecutive plays

But he knows the plays. That's what's important.

Beckwith made one play that really showed me something. There was a pkay in which their QB went through a gaping hole. Beckwith had a blocker in his grill. He forced the blocker low, had his legs knocked out from under him, then bounced up and made a one on one tackle of Prescott. It might have been another long TD if Beckwith had stayed blocked.

You can't play a guy who doesn't know the defense. We might have 25 scenarios on defense for each game. These involve several sets and several permutations out of each set. If Beckwith has 8 of them down pat, you can only nsert him in the game if you're confidant you can get by with those eight.

I'm sure that he is steadily adding more to his reperetoir. Hopefully soon we'll see him as the starter.
