Love pulling for a team that comes out of obscurity. Coach is solid gold. 
However, they have a tough row to hoe...

Cutcliffe is very underrated. He might not be the best recruiter, but that dude can coach some offensive football. Great coach.

Cutcliffe is a solid HC, but the schedule gets real in a week. No question what he has done though.

Duke under any other coach they've had recently would be 1-3 though.

Their schedule really doesn't get that difficult in a week or at any point in the season. That said, last year's bowl game showed that they were still a good team regardless of their week schedule. Don't many people thought they would stay within 3 scores of aTm and they really should have won that game.

The schedule isn't that tough, all teams duke beat last year or competed with. Georgia Tech always gives them trouble. The recruiting is also really picking up, at least by Duke's standards.

Both true. They will also benefit from not playing FSU, Clemson, or Louisville from the other division.
