Just did a quick search on the board and did not find much. What is the F&D Board thoughts on Parkway Bakery? I have personally enjoyed it every time that I have been. Also, it is my preferred grab and go food on my way out of NOLA towards BR due to its location.
Am I missing out on some places in NOLA that are good but overlooked?

I'm a huge fan but their RB isn't my favorite.

I ate there once and had the RB... didn't think it was anything special. I'm not big on shrimp poboys but apparently that's the way to go.

They do shrimp very well. Gumbo is underrated. Lots of other good po boys like Pastrami, corned beef, etc. Oysters a couple days a week.
RB is bland, and the catfish sucks.

If they had better RB they would be the GOAT.

It's good.
I go a few times a year, and it's consistently good.

Probably overall best poboy shop in the city. There are other places that can do specific kinds better, but PW is solid

Sometimes I get the surf and turf but I usually prefer the shrimp with ketchup and hot sauce.
