Mississippi State is a trendy pick. I wouldn't put any stock in anything ESPN analyst spout bro.

Phil Steele case in point.

These guys are told to create controversy and/or excitement with their picks...it's marketing....selling viewership.

Yep. Realized they try to get people interested in games on their networks by picking upsets or making "bold" predictions. If they were honest, they would go with the favorite in Vegas the VAST majority of picks, and only occasionally pick the underdog unless of course they're getting the points.

Line at 9.5

If LSU loses it will be because of turnovers or several missed FG or some fluke shite like that.

We ripped his heart out. Why wouldn't he be butthurt?

This
Pollack picking and giving LSU props would surprise me as much as if Holtz did the same.

They haven't beaten us since 1999, correct?

even if they outplay us, look at UK from last week. UK hasn't beat UF in years and especially in the Swamp. MSU has that same pressure, if they start to see the light at the end of the tunnel they may start to crack under the pressure.

MSU will probably look good early, if we can survive the initial onslaught we will win this.

MSU best chance to beat us is to get a big lead on us and than survive the comeback like we always do in the 4th when down.

MSU will need turnovers galore to win this one.

I wouldn't be to sure about that, if Jennings struggles to complete passes but still doesn't turn it over it will be a long game.

He probably thinks our offense lacks imagination and consistency, and that it may take time for our young DTs to grow into their position.

Pollack has complimented Lsu in the past. He once said that Lsu has the most intimidating unis in college football.
