I find that nobody ever agrees on his films. So I'd like to see if there is any consensus on this board. I know that nobody will agree with mine, but here goes:

Django Unchained
Pulp Fiction
Jackie Brown
Inglourious Basterds
Reservoir Dogs
Death Proof
Kill Bill Vol. 1 (never saw 2 because I hated this)

I've never seen True Romance and the others.

Edited to switch PF and JB

Pulp Fiction is really good. I watched Jackie Brown recently, and I probably am putting it a bit too high.

I'm surprised that y'all have Reservoir Dogs so high. Maybe I didn't "get" it.

See. This is the Tarantino effect. My top two are your first and last.

We park our cars in the same garage. One of the better QT lists I've seen. Only change I would consider is Pulp Fiction one spot higher over JB.

I never considered True Romance a QT movie bc he didn't direct. But if you include that, it would be my #1. I love me some Alabama Whorrly. Based on your taste, I would watch asap.

I think I would probably make that change. Like I said, I just saw JB (for the first time). I think I really loved it because nobody had ever hyped it up for me, so I was very pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it.

Assuming I switch it to 2, I think that's fair. I absolutely love Django, and there is no changing my mind there. I never understand when people tell me they hate that movie. Or that it's too long. Or any of that. It's perfect. Possibly my favorite movie ever full of great performances and incredible dialogue.

TBH, I would struggle with ranking number two on my list: Django, Basterds, or Dogs? For longevity reasons I'd say Dogs, for my geeky love of history I'd say Basterds, for pure enjoyment I'd say Django. All that being said I'm a huge fan of Jackie Brown, though at the time it was released it disappointed me.

I like all of this, but can you explain to me why you like Dogs? I'm going to have to give it another chance at some point.

If you rank Django ahead of pulp fiction then something is wrong with you
