I find that nobody ever agrees on his films. So I'd like to see if there is any consensus on this board. I know that nobody will agree with mine, but here goes:

Just a note, we do this one about once a month or so. There are archives.

I'd say:

Jackie Brown - It's his most "film-like" film, and I value it for that. It's also his most complete work with the best performances-only matched by IB.
IB - His most artistic work probably with the most on point theme
Pulp Fiction - While fantastic, inventive and creative.... it treats characters like Plot Devices, Plot like a pastiche mish-mash, and film like a kid playing with a toy. While that makes it unique, it also makes it lack real impact. Fun to watch, but not overly meaningful.
Kill Bill 1/2 - I'm a fan, but I like old Japanese movies
Reservoir Dogs - Still a good film, but not as good as those above it
Death Proof - I like it more than most
Django - IB made with less heart, if that makes sense. Still good, but lacking a lot for me.

Indeed I am. I just think Tarantino is vastly overrated and the amount of love he gets on this board is ridiculous. As has been pointed out by other posters, this subject is debated once a fricking month.

Nope. I saw IB first and like him better in Django

I had to create the theory because everyone liked him less in Django. I agree with you, fine sir.

I recently watched True Romance after having not seen it in a while. My memory was that I loved it. On the recent re-watch, I realized I hated it.

It just felt too cartoony.

Does "From Dusk til Dawn" count as a Tarantino film?

People are saying True Romance, so sure why not. Let's throw Natural Born Killers and Crimson Tide in there as well.
