I bought Rosetta Stone (the entire package) 18 months ago. I have not made it very far due to a lack of commitment, drive, and motivation. I love the idea of learning a second language but I have not followed through with the time and dedication that it requires. I'm ready to do it.

Who else will commit to the challenge?

I will make a list of everyone who wants to participate. Start date begins as soon as your respond.

1. Please post the language that you are learning.
2. When you complete a lesson post here and I will update on the first page.
3. Also, try to write some posts in this thread in the language you are trying to learn. Be sure to translate it for the rest of us.

Let's keep each other motivated.

I have the Latin American Spanish one. I would really like to do it.

I did like five lessons and never went back to it.
By buddy had a torrent file with 12 languages and the complete packs on it. I actually bought mine and felt played. lol

Do you want to start again? I would do a couple of lessons and then put it down for three months and start back over. I need to be consistent.

Do you want to commit?

I have Arabic and I got pretty far into part 2 before abandoning it a couple years back.

Unfortunately, don't have time to join in.

I have Mandarin Chinese version, but it's really kind of a shitty way to learn Chinese.

I have the Mexican Spanish one, and was pretty dedicated to it. Problem was that it takes fricking forever and I just got tired of doing it after 3 weeks

IDK.

I found an Immersion school in Argentina that was just a little bit more than Rosetta Stone. If I were single and could just leave the country for a few weeks I would do that.

Basically they foster you with an Argentian family that knows no English and no one is allowed to speak English the whole three weeks, and you are in the Patagonian mountains.
Looked nice.

I bought the entire library(bootleg) for $10 in Sao Paolo a few years ago. Still haven't opened it.
