Hell no to Round Rock!

It should be New Orleans again!

I'm sick of the Marlins.

I wish we were back with the Astros.

Haven't they been trying to establish a new team/park in Montgomery County for awhile? Or did that die out. I just remember them discussing it publicly a year or two ago

Colorado Springs ended their relationship with the Rockies.

Where were was the Dodgers AAA team located previously? Seems odd for LA to venture this far East to have a AAA home. But would love for Houston to take back Round Rock or New Orleans.

ETA: Dodgers former AAA affiliate was Albuquerque Isotopes. The Dodgers chose OKC because its only 100 miles from Tulsa, which will now be their AA team.

Albuquerque. I think they wanted to get out of the high altitude.

What I had been hearing a year or so ago was that Crane was looking to buy a team and move them to Conroe. At the time, that team was rumored to be New Orleans.

It doesn't seem as if anything has come of that yet. Not surprised they're moving on from OKC. I've heard bad things about that organization since Mandalay Entertainment took over.

We are stuck with the Marlins until 2016 and the lease with Zephyr field also expires then

I heard similar. Crane wanted a team near the woodlands and was looking to buy and move one. Not sure where that's at, unless Crane has an offer on one and will keep them in place for a year or so while they build a stadium.

That just seems weird to me. I'm not from Houston, but I would think the Astros pulls a lot ticket buyers from the North Houston area.

Well, the Astros right now aren't pulling a lot of ticket buyers from anywhere. But The Woodlands/Conroe/Huntsville area is over 200,000 people. And I'd doubt many of those people are season ticket holders.

Obie pitched well but this shite offense got it handed to them. 2-0.

Al tube had 2 hits. The rest of the team had none.

Seems stupid for Houston to purchase a team and move it to the metro area for Triple-A. I know Crane and Co. own the Hooks now in Corpus Christi, so I guess they aren't going away any time soon...

MAYBE Corpus Christi becomes a Triple-A squad similar to how Round Rock did. That would involve the current Double-A Hooks to be sold and moved, while a Triple-A team is purchased and moved to CC...but all that seems like too much. Plus, the attendance at Whataburger Field isn't the way the crowds were in Round Rock.

Fresno or Colorado Springs gets the Astros. It seems odd that the Rockies would end their relationship with the Springs, but that stadium is pathetic. I've heard a new one is on the way.
