Yeah he's good. The 1997 Clapton Jazz Jam with him and David Sanborn is great.

The jazz-fusion/jazz-rock/prog-rock labels tend to get blended at times but here's a few that I enjoy. Some are spinoffs of your mentions and many are pretty obvious.

Jerry Goodman/Jan Hammer:
Like Children

Return to Forever:
Romantic Warrior
No Mystery

Camel:
Moonmadness

Larry Coryell/Alphonse Mouzon:
Back Together Again

Philip Catherine:
Nairam (2 album "greatest hits")

Patrick Moraz:
The Story of I

Stanley Clarke:
School Days
Stanley Clarke

Brand X (there was a discussion of this a couple of weeks ago).
Unorthodox Behaviour

Jeff Beck:
Blow by Blow

The Falcon Project:
The Revenge of Sonic Soular

Fire Merchants:
Fire Merchants

Weather Report-my favorite album by them:
Black Market

Pat Metheny Unity Group-absolutely fantastic in concert
Kin

Lagrene Bireli & Jaco Pastorius:
Stuttgart Aria

And there was that one time they made a more pop-oriented album:

Return to Forever, the whole Romantic Warrior record was definitive fusion but I like

Medieval Overture

Lenny White is a boss on this.

*oops, Bleeng beat me to it.
