I picked him up on waivers about 30 minutes before kick off. Obviously that move was a good one, he had a ridiculous game. However, I am concerned about him going forward. He's been a top tier TE play the first two weeks based on his stats. Can he be a consistent starter for me, or should I try to make a trade for someone that'll likely be more consistent?

I'm in the same situation...picked him up after week 1. I think I'll ride him until he proves me otherwise

I think he is in that tier of TEs that can be great one week be disappear the next. After the elite TEs, it's a crapshoot IMO.

He had a quietly good year last season. Those WRs look like shite so he's looking like the man early in TEN

I picked him up as a replacement for jordan cameron this week. I don't like carrying two te's, but I guess that's where I'm at right now. Like Gyno said, I think there's a good chance he is the guy in Ten, but I think there probably will be some ups and downs with him because that offense will have some weeks where the whole thing craps out.

I'm just hoping the guy can stay at least somewhat consistent. I'm not expecting anything close to what he did in week 2 again. But if he can put up a decent amount each week that would help me big time. I had Jordan Reed initially, but he went down, and I don't trust the guy anyway. TE and deciding on a flex each week seem to be the only real concerns.

The good thing about Walker is he's actually talented. His speed makes him a difficult matchup and I think Wisenhunt's offense will do a good job of using him vertically.

Of course, Wisenhunt is also famous for not using the tight end so WTF do I know.

Another know how many snaps he's getting? He's a small TE so I figure there has to be another TE they throw in there for running plays.

Their other tight end is an absolute non factor in the passing game. 2 catches last year.

Tenn runs a lot of 12 personnel, they don't even carry a fullback. Walker will play a ton of snaps.
