Willy's a lawyer?

I thought he was done with school after the debacle last season.

Who's the dead guy at the end? The one who told nucky about Miya?

Not sure where they're going with the little Nucky mclovin' storyline.

I mean, we knew his dad was shite and he had a hard childhood... We get it. I hope they're not just beating us to death with this.

Yeah, pretty sure that's who it was.

I don't get it. We're now 1/4 done and we've gotten nowhere. The flashback scenes are sad as hell, with his sister dying, but they really are giving us no substance whatsoever. It's merely filler. I hate to be Debbie Downer, but so far this is about as underwhelming as it gets for a final abbreviated season.

I wouldn't say we've gotten nowhere. A ton happened in episode 1. And while this seemed like a set up episode, we got to see what's going on in Chicago, William still working for Nucky, and that Meyer and Luciano are planning something big.

I do wish they would quit showing the flashbacks though. Seems like wasted screen time. But not near as much as the awful Gillian storyline. Where the hell are they going with that? And why?

ETA: I fricking love Mueller. His scenes and lines are absolutely hilarious at times.

I have to disagree, its been a good one so far to me. Plenty of action, Nucky setting up to go legit, Lansky and Lucky setting up their thing, Chicago action with Mueller and Eli...I also really like the Joe Kennedy insertion.
