I think AP will get 6-8 games. He didn't drunkenly beat a woman. He whipped his kid with a switch old school. Not as offensive to most as knocking the frick out of your fiancée and her heading wacking a handrail.

If it's same concept as domestic violence 1st offense it would be 6 weeks with the new Ray Rice rule.

The child told his mother that Peterson “likes belts and switches” and “has a whooping room.”

I do think that AP went overboard disciplining his child. But the nfl cannot be in the business of suspending players for the manner they discipline their children. I understand we are in a sense of heightened sensitivity with all this Rice stuff going on, but this should be handled by the courts, not the NFL.

Meh. Part of what made him great was the attention opposing defenses had to give to AP.

Wow, this story is unreal. And this is all less than a year after his son/step son (whatever he was) died of injuries from child abuse caused by another grown man.
