Carlos Hyde or Ryan Mathews?

Definitely Ryan. Can't tell if Hyde got so many carries because Dallas was put away or that's the way 49ers are splitting carries.

Mathews. At the very least, you'll be sure to get somewhere around 5-7 points at minimum. Just hope you get lucky with a TD somewhere. I'm having that issue right now too with Gerhart semi-injured and Peterson out...(I also have Mathews lol)

I'm going to go against convention and say Hyde. He looked like the better back last week, granted against Dallas, but still. If they split carries like they did last week he will get his points.
If Mathews wasn't going against Seattle it would be an easy call to play him over Hyde, but this week it's Hyde. I think it's more likely Hyde does well against a terrible Chicago rush defense than Mathews does well against Seattle, especially after watching how Arizona held him in check.
If you take away that 20yd TD run away from Mathews he had a terrible week. I realize that playing the "if" game can make any player look good or bad, but do you think he will get one of those runs against Seattle? I don't.
