After my second season at Hertha Berlin (7th place first year, then 4th place...Jóhannsson won Golden Boot the second year), I've taken the Atletico Madrid job.
Made a savepoint still in Hertha in case I want to go back and play with them in the UCL. But I wanted to try La Liga for the first time.

No idea. They've never finished top 4, but could have sold someone. Haven't been paying close enough attention to lower level EPL teams.

I've only played a season and a half so far on 15, but I know in 14 other teams would randomly get a new owner with tons of cash.

Was able to get them to to pay £69 million after a couple of counter offers. Pogba was £30 million. Messi was £80 million.

Annnnnnd as I suspected, I got canned from Hamburger.

After accepting the manager role @ Genoa & their £11 million transfer budget, and doing a good bit of scouting, I fell asleep on the sofa without saving. Woke up this morning and the board had a chane of heart! But they still expect me to win Europa and the Bundesliga

Things are going swell at Atletico through the first three matches of the season. I sold the deadweight (boy, they had a lot of that) and bought Alexandre Lacazette, Bernard, JAB and then Alberto Moreno to play LM/LWB in my 3-4-3/3-5-2 system.
Then I used some player + cash deals to build the start of an American-based reserve team. Julian Green, Tommy Thompson, Zardes, Yedlin so far...but Yedlin might be my second-choice RWB behind Arda Turan.
I played three bottom-half La Liga teams to start the season and just ripped them. Combined 15-2 score line. The tough ones are coming up, though, with Valencia and Real and Bilbao.
Oh, and on Deadline Day, I saw an alert that PSG bought Suarez from Barça for...$141 MILLION.

I think something glitched when I was fired from Portsmouth. Sometimes after a save, it reverts to a shortlist from my time there. Also, it has a few of my current players on my shortlist and I can't take them off. And when I add a guy to my shortlist, it will put "Interest shown by Portsmouth" even though I've been at Hamburger now for almost 4 full seasons.
Speaking of which, I'm on a MASSIVE hot streak right now. Problem is, everyone above me keeps winning (although I did take 3 from Schalke away
). Dortmund are 10 PT's ahead of me going into March. I sit at 4th, 2pts back of Bayern. I'm tearing through the Euro right now, beating Besiktas by 8-0 on aggregate in the round of 32. Then I took down FC Twente 5-2 on aggregate. I get Sevilla in the quarters next.
Goals this season were for me to win Euro, win the Bundesliga and get into the final 16 in the domestic cup. I'm hoping if I can win Euro and take a top 4 spot, the board will give me another year. Shits REALLY coming together now and if I can make 1 or 2 more acquisitions, I think I can challenge for the league.

I played Chelsea the other day in UCL and they had Cuadrado as the starting striker and Costa on the bench. I thought that was rather strange.

Survived yet another season. This time, I qualified for Champions Cup....and of course my goal is to win the cup but only to reach the quarters in the domestic cup and re-qualify for the CC in the Bundesliga. Weird expectations.

1. I'm having a terrible time aiming in this version.
2. Long-term injuries seem to be much more common. In the space of four weeks I lost four starters to 3 month+ injuries.
3. Just witnessed the GOAT own goal. Had a corner, put it in, and the keeper jumps to tip the ball over the net but instead puts it in for a goal.
4. The stoppage time thing pisses me off. fricking ref blows at any time, even when the ball's in the box.

Anybody looking for a Pro Club or a few guys for their club? We seemed to have lost most of our team to Destiny. We were playing a few matches nearly every night and now we are lucky to get in a session a week.

Injuries are a bit too common in this version if you ask me.
