In all honesty, I rolled my eyes a little bit when you were complaining about Bountygate and how everything was handled by the commish's office. At the time I just saw it as sour grapes. But after everything we've learned in the past week about what goes on up there it's clear that you were right all along. Roger Goodell is quite possibly the worst commissioner in sports history and needs to be out on his arse ASAP.

Have an upvote.

The Saints got screwed for something everyone else did.

So you had to see the Rice video to come to this conclusion? You are no better than Goodell himself, and I have proof that you did in fact see the video previously, yet failed to come to this conclusion until it was public knowledge. I call for a ban.

I noticed this too when conversing with other team's fans. Most of them said that we were caught "cheating", but most admitted that the punishments were too harsh.

When I would ask for details on the "evidence" of how we "cheated" they just regurgitated what the media was reporting.

I think the media jumped on the story because it was big juicy news. However once the "evidence" started looking fishy, I think most of the media that were initially salivating about the Saints and bounties started to see that they were used to push the story and most of what the NFL said was BS.

The NFL and Goodell used up their media goodwill on fabrigate. Now that they are using the same tactics with the Ray Rice debacle as they did with the Saints, the media is more willing to look at the evidence, dig deeper into the issue and report on the NFL's and Goodell's questionable ethics and their pertinacity twist the truth and outright lie.

That 2011 Saints team was the greatest we've seen fielded, imo.

We'll never know what 2012 could have brought because of him. We would probably be waving 2 rings in the face of Falcon fans right now.

Just kidding Spags was horrible

what does any of it matter really, if you're still going to support them, they're going to continue playing you for chumps

they think you're all a bunch of poor folk bumpkins that are too stupid, too willing to believe, and too addicted to their heroin, which is giving a reduced high these days

No, he had to see Goodell prove to the entire world how slimy he is

You never know. I don't think we have the 3 and out problems that we had in 2012 with Sean Payton.

Our offense, while highly rated, struggled in early 2012 and cost us a few games.

Defense didn't play that poorly down the stretch. Hell, we had a 7-5 record with Vitt as the head coach

That was already proven and shown through propaganda and agendas and secret proof and convenient sources to listen to. He put common sense and logic aside along time ago to fight a preconceived agenda of what he wanted done. But because this dude hated the saints and thought we were babies and now he comes to terms with something even though its no different than what he's been doing for 2 years, frick that.

The best part was how they ran Vitt's name through the mud for supposedly trying to cover it up.

They discounted all his testimony b/c of something he said months/years before.

Hypocrites

Vitt?!

Gregg Williams is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He was rail roaded the hardest

And he brought us a lombardi so I'm not even sweating 2011

It's these inter-team squabbles that keep us from seeing the truth about the Shield.

Next time, look beyond the team.
