I find this behavior shocking and appalling but am being accused of blowing it out of proportion.

**apparently the scenario was two neighbors over a small dog of one neighbor shitting in the other's yard. Neighbor in question picked up a turd bare handed and yelled "Is this what you are yelling about?". I am shocked by this. Am I over reacting?

Yes, but I thought it was something else.

Took forever to get that taste out of my mouth.

How else are you going to deposit it in the bag?

I live downtown in a large city, but I hate picking up my dog's poo. One thing I'll do is when he poops I'll have the bad ready to go. It's in my hand and I'm kind of prominently displaying it, as if to say "BOY, LOOK AT ME. JOHNNY ON THE SPOT DOG-OWNER HERE. YESSIR. READY TO PICK UP SOME POOP ASAP."

And then he poops and I'm like positioning myself to pick it up - I have my hand in the bag as if I'm a doctor with a latex glove ready to examine a prostate.

Then I'll take the bagged hand and put it between a potential bystander's field of vision and my dog's poop, and I'll pick up a few leaves or blades of grass instead of the poop.

To really sell it, I'll kind of "toss" the bag in my hand, as if to demonstrate to the potential onlooker "WOW - THAT'S A HEFTY LOAD OF POOP, BUDDY." I'll even kind of turn my face as if I have caught a whiff of the poop as I do this.

Walking away, I'll put the bag into my pocket as soon as we're out of the field of vision of any potential onlookers. I'd estimate that I only actually retrieve my dog's poop about 10% of the time.

Where did you grow up that you didn't have rocks?

We used rocks, mud clods, and BB guns.

Also, OP wise, no. Why would I do that?
