Love Joel, but I prefer Mike. The host segments tended to get a bit goofy with Joel, and I wasn't a fan of the invention exchange.

I always preferred Mike. For some reason I can't stand Joel, but I'll readily admit that I don't think I've given him a fair chance.

Joel was way better. When they switched to mike I quit watching.

I started watching the show during the Sci-Fi days, so I've always been partial to Mike. I have affinity for Joel as well, though. It's kind of apples and oranges to me. I'm nostalgic about them both for different reasons. I find that I'm partial to watching Joel episodes late at night because that's the time of day that we'd usually pop in a crusty old VHS tape of a Joel episode.

They both had their charm. I believe Mike was a writer for the show during the Joel days. Anyway, yeah, I dug them both.
