I will be the first to admit that I bought in to the hype. The best running back prospect since A.P. The best freshmen in the country. So on and so forth. Clearly he is not Adrian Peterson, but with that being said he could be the next Jeremy Hill. He has great size for a freshmen and his vision is already outstanding. One thing that I've noticed which has bothered me though is that when he tries to get to the edge he is consistently run down. Not a negatiger or LF hater (wasn't shook when he hit the Heisman pose) but what exactly is his 40 time? Just asking b/c I never saw him play in highschool. Is he supposed to be super fast, because I'm just not seeing it. Like I said I see a lot of Jeremy Hill in him (which is by no means a bad thing) what do y'all think?

He is trying to outrun DBs on the edge and that just won't happen as much in college.

He has the talent, just needs to adjust his style a little. I do wish he'd run angrier like Adrian Peterson. I love a violent RB.

ETA:

He'll be fine. He's 18. Adrian Peterson is a top 5 RB in NFL history. If Fournette has similar stats to Jeremy Hill that would be awesome. Hill was unbelievable last year.

Reminds me of Harvey Williams! Remember him from Hempstead, TX.

Classic video of him in the stands with his girlfriend when the coach said he had an option of either being with the team or sitting in the stands because of injury.

Anyone remember his high speed car chase on I-10 and College.

Go Tiger Offensive Line.

least important stat for a RB... I can see why you think it's relevant.

I think he's played 2 games at 18 years old and that he's going to end up being one of the better runningbacks we've ever seen at LSU.

Are there really some plays where you thought he had something to work with and failed?

I would bet his laser time is between 4.4 and 4.5. People calling him a sub 4.4 guy are high on some good shite. AD ran a 4.4 flat and I can't think of a faster guy at that size.

He was a solid 100m runner in track.

ETA:

And it doesn't really matter. He has great burst and lateral speed. Thats way more important for a RB.

Glad you decided this after 2 games

Designed outside runs where he is waiting for the hole to open. He will get better at hitting the hole.

Yeah LF hasn't had the running lanes. This much is obvious. He was met by Wisconsin defenders in the backfield all night (NOT HIS FAULT). I just found it more disturbing that every time he tried to break one to the outside on a D2 school he was getting run down. That's all, not that he won't improve bc he clearly will. Not that he won't be all SEC or even an all American b/c I can see both happening for the kid. Just was asking an honest question. how fast is he really?

I haven't been as impressed with his vision. But that will come to him with time as the game slows down. Those holes close a lot quicker in college than HS

Objective critique of your post:

No one gives a shite about your opinion on Leonard Fournette and what you think he will or won't be.

The kid has played 2 games in his college career and the only reason he "isn't living up to the hype" is because douchebags like you keep posting that he should have 500 all purpose yards and 6 TDs by now.

Do people honestly think that if they add the word "objective" to their opinion it automatically gives it more weight?

Youu're opinion is entirely subjective, and now I know you're an idiot who doesn't know the difference.
