All they have to say right now is that he should have said this sooner, and that he will show weakness in a month.

It's really pathetic. Just admit he showed himself as a leader tonight.

For what it's worth, I'm conservative, and I hate Obama as a president, but Fox News looks pathetic right now.

He didn't scare anyone tonight. The world knows this. We all know this.

How so? By having a former Clinton employee and a queen democrat from the USA Today giving feedback immediately after the speech?

Yeah. They're sooooo biased.

Much like most of this forum. Doesn't matter what he does...they will find a way to attack him.

I thought it was a fairly weak performance. He played golf for the last month and has shown up to the party late, as shown by his awful, awful ratings on foreign policy right now.

You're right that they'd be critical either way, but his actions to date are not above criticism.

I'm liberal, but that is pretty much the only news channel the other side has.

They just don't need to label themselves "fair and balanced".

I think it's just a situational phenomenon. Bizarre, for sure.

no what is really pathetic is that less than a year after the JV comments he is having a national address to reassure ppl that the JV squad can't hurt us.

leadership is not just about what you say or do but about how and when you do it.

Well it is how he got elected. He gives good speech.

It's amazing how impressed some people are by words.
