We also have an actual special teams coach. Saban used to let a GA handle it so that he could use the limited coaching spots on positions.
ETA: The more I think about it. Miles is actually very Frank Beamerish. Special teams has won us more than a handful of games in the past 10 years.

Alleman was great in 2011 but couldn't repeat that in 2012.

Wade Richey is a good choice for inconsistent, but I believe he suffered an injury during his time with LSU and coaches never gave him enough time to let it heal properly...
