Either Roy Hurd or Mark Lumpkin. When it was absolutely critical that they make the kick, well you guessed it, wide left, right or short. Quite a few games lost on the legs of these kickers back in the day.

Did Corbello ever miss wide right? Every miss of his I remember was a power duck hook to the left...did great in late 2Q-3Q of the 2001 SEC Championship after one of those quackers

You only have to go back to years to get to Alleman's 2012 season. Then Chris Jackson was a pretty bad place kicker. He was a good punter. Colt David was good but he'd shank a ton of field goals.

alleman: 12- 21/29 of fg and 44/44 pat

David: 08- 16/21 43/44, 07- 26/33 63/63 broke scoring record for LSU, 06- 8/13 50/51, 05- 4/5 40/41

Jackson, 06- 5/5 on pats his last season, 05- 10/19 on fgs no pat attempted, 04- 11/17 15/20.

Like i said when saban last coached here. Jackson and gaudet had a terrible 04 season. we missed 8 pats that season.

Pretty sure Miles was the coach in 2012. I have to check though.

Wade Richey once they sent him to a sports psychologist. I seem to recall him kicking fairly well and then for some reason they sent him to a sports psychologist and he got WAY worse. lol.

Did well in the Pros. Have an autographed football that my brother in law gave to my boys ..

The more I think about it. Miles is actually very Frank Beamerish. Special teams has won us more than a handful of games in the past 10 years.

When two teams have about the same amount of talent, having a great punter and kicker usually make the difference.
