Why does Texas think they are going to flip Nick Brossette?

He should go to Alabama like Tim Williams did.

LSU will have exactly two running backs with experience on its depth chart next year. Seeing as LSU routinely uses three running backs this is a lame reason if Brossette has any sort of confidence in his ability.

Depth is the reason but its a copout. They may bring 4-5 backs in this year. Of course the on campus depth will look better but in reality we will have the same amount of returnees as Texas will. This is about Fournette plain and simple. Its been rumored for almost 2 years that if Fournette went to LSU then Brossette wouldn't. There are things in his personal life that many felt would overcome the Fournette factor but apparently that isn't the case anymore. I hope he sticks but I won't cry if he doesn't. I like Guice and Ducre better. Still would love all 3.

Because of Fournette and Guice, I'm guessing. I'd rather see Brossette at LSU rather than Guice, if i had to choose.

Texas is pure crap and is losing it's best players after this season. I can think of at least 50 other schools to go to if not LSU.

This is seriously the first time I've heard that on here

Look, Brossette is a high level back. People on here continually piss on him because he's exploring his options, which he should. Depth is no more a concern on this team than it is on Texas', but Fournette just draws so much attention. I think he will be successful no matter which school he chooses, and he should go play where his heart is.

I want Brossette at LSU. He will be a great back among great backs.

Luckily our coaches don't feel the same way.

I just have that Shiro feel with him strictly just my personal belief.
I want him to be a part of this class badly but in the past he talked up Texas. Recruiting changes daily and hopefully he will be a Tiger in the end.

Brossette is a good one. I hope he sticks with LSU.

He will not be the featured back at LSU, but that also means he won't be all used up by the time he gets to the NFL. Just ask Ridley, Hill, et al.

Hopefully Brossette doesn't buy into the BS that he wouldn't get carries here because of our other guys. If he's that talented (which he is) he'll see the field plenty.
