After finally switching from iPhone to an android from the iPhone 5 to the Galaxy s5. I immediately enjoyed the user interface and the widgets of the Android. But, after owning it. Man did it have a lot of bloatware and slowing down often. Having to often clean the ram.

Now I wanted to try out a different android and picked out the Oneplus one. Man this thing is blazing fast and never ever have to use the clean ram. After owning it for a week or 2. Man am I glad I switched.

Some nice perks:

Double tap to sleep
Double tap to wake.
Draw a V on screen to turn on flashlight when phone is asleep.
Draw a O on screen to bring up camera when phone is asleep.

Just the main ones i use also have gestures for music when the phone is asleep also.

I'm expecting mine to arrive any day now. Does yours have yellow banding? I was really excited to get the phone, but after scouring the oneplus forums I'm actually quite nervous to receive mine.

Nope no yellow banding. I've heard they fixed it with an update also.

Another cool feature. When plugged in to charger or docked. It's in daydream mode. Like a screen saver that displays the time and day.

No it doesn't. If it was ip7 certified I would want it bad as I had it for the s5 because taking that cover piece off over the cover hole was annoying as frick.

Unless they make a cover that accepts wireless charging, I don't care for it. Daydream mode has been around for awhile. I'm interested in the One Plus One.

Hated this. Would constantly turn on in my pocket

fricking LOVE this

Annoyed me

Other stuff:
- replaying my 1080p (and higher) camera footage looks janky as hell. It has lots of pixel problems.
- have these random touch problems. It'll register touches when I'm not even holding the phone
- it overheats from the sun and heat too easily
- I hate the typing experience on it. It just doesn't have the same feedback and smoothness as the nexus

Im likely going back to the nexus. If the n5 had this camera then it would be hands down the best android phone out. If the 1+ was an open buy, I would refer people to buy it over the m8 and G3, but not the nexus

I switched from iOS to the Oneplus as my first android phone, and just assumed the typing issues and terrible autocorrect was an android flaw. Is the issue not the same on every android phone? The thing I hate the worst is how it's never smart enough to know that when I typed something like"footballbgame" it was supposed to be a space and not a "b". When I try to correct it, it highlights the whole word and offer up all kinds of dumb corrections, and not let me just delete the b. Frustrating at times, but the other issues of light and camera turning on have evaded me thus far.

SwiftKey will fix the typing woes. As for the gestures going off in the pocket. Have yell recently updated? I heard it fixed all of it as I just received mine and have not had it go off in my pocket once

The double tap to wake annoyed me because I couldn't get it to work. But you have to double tap on the status bar and now I love it

I dont have problems with autocorrect, but after using the n5 for 9 months and the m8 for one, the typing experiences on all other phones suck

yall are crazy, I love that feature on my G2. Don't think I could go back to a phone that doesn't have that feature.
