If this is the video making the rounds a couple of weeks ago, the parents are white trash and the gay kid is an attention seeking drama queen that set up the entire incident.

ETA: After the video went viral, the gay kid set up an account to try and crowd fund his living expenses. He's an a-hole.

Toddy. I'm not going to the link. I love my son more than anyone in this world. I would never disown, mistreat or harm him if he told me he was gay.

Obviously the parent is a blowhard, but I would probably be a little upset if my child came out. I would support his decision, but there are some things that you would miss out on if your child was gay.

I have a soon to be 4yr old son and a child on the way due in April.
If my son came to me and said Dad I am gay I would say ok that's fine. I would still have expectations for him to be successful in anything he does and not use his sexuality as a crutch or a tool to use to his advantage such as laying false claims of homophobia or whatever.
As long as your child is happy and successful any parent should be overjoyed.

Also, I have to give the parents a break because listening to their son on the video, his being gay obviously had to come outta nowhere. I mean, how could they have seen that coming?
