Close to nothing besides a few restaurants and some hilly/grassy plains.

awww, man, lots of things to do, what every TIGER fan has always wanted to do, hang out with some aggies...will make you appreciate all the dummies and pricks at LSU games...
I am planning on going, have some kinfolks that are aggies and live there...they promised me a great time, I think something was said about Thanksgiving Dinner @ the Dixie Chicken...
I know it will never compare to their TIGER Tailgating experience I showed them this past year...they couldn't believe it...guess we just need to bring our own party...
I am sure there will be some serious TIGER parties in the area, as there is a big rivalry in Houston amongst the TIGERS and aggies alums...

I'm from there. There's not a LOT to do... I would never say that. But there are a few certain things that, as good football fans, LSU diehards and LSU football lovers should see/experience.

Be sure to walk on the grass AND wear a hat inside the student union type building.

I'll be there. I have some aggie family in Caldwell and am just going to eat there.

It really is a fun weekend trip, but I could never fathom living there for college. It makes Baton Rouge feel like Dubai. However, they do have a few really nice bars right off campus.

I moved to Katy just a few weeks ago, and am hoping to make it to the aTm game. Haven't been there before, and I'm not expecting much, other than to be able to watch the Tigers play a heated rival...

I would imagine that we will do some sight-seeing of the campus prior to the game. Whether it's a dump or not, it doesn't matter. I like to see the other SEC schools on an away game visit.

For all of the people hating on College Station, I don't really get it. I agree, a lot of the people are weird, but as far as college experience, it's pretty much the same thing as every other campus, including LSU. For the most part, students go to restaurants and bars near campus. They have just as many as the LSU area. I would even venture to say their nightlife is better than LSU's due to there being no cover at any bar. I've actually had that opinion of most SEC campuses when comparing them to LSU.

I'll agree that if you are there for a week, it may be boring compared to LSU or other campuses. But, if you are just there for a weekend, it is the same thing as everywhere else. If anything, my opinion should be swaying the other way. I married an Aggie, so I am surrounded by these people and their odd traditions.
