I still don't understand the outrage over this new clip.

I get the original outrage over the light sentence juxtaposed with the ridiculous Sean Payton sentence and the ridiculous Josh Gordon sentence.

But why is THIS VIDEO the tipping point?

I assumed that since he only got a two game suspension that she was beating his arse and he simply pushed her off of him and she hit her head or something. I NEVER imagined he was the actual aggressor and straight up tysoned her. Why is this so hard to understand?

Because a man struck a woman to the point of being unconscious. Smoking weed or bounties (allegedly) aren't a big deal to the general public.

Was their anything shown in the video that they didn't know happened? I honestly haven't been following it closely, so I don't know. Was he punished due to speculation of what happened or did he admit to knocking her out and then was punished?

I have no idea why you would have assumed that given Goodell's atrocious track record of meting out appropriate punishments.

more emotional to the average human when you can physically see the violence versus just reading about it.

b/c before they could at least pretend that RR's wife had possibly started a fight and attacked him first. They were basically saying he didn't really mean to knock her out and it was all a terrible accident.

he should award michael sam an all-ghey franchise

this will confuse SJWs, and they won't know who to support

Goodell is horrible and I'd love to see him resign. I have no faith in him to do the right thing here.

Sadly, this is probably his best course of action.

People are arguing that this is the tipping point because the NFL told everybody that they saw the video when they issued the suspension, and now that it has been released they're admitting that nobody watched it.

Short answer, he'll survive.

Why? The only ones that could force him out are the owners and himself. What in Goodell's history makes you think his conscience will force him to resign? If anything, it'll make him stay and be more forceful going ahead. Secondly, who says the owners actually care about anything besides winning and making money.
