Yes I'm pleased with how well they performed in week one, but I'm worried about a bad game come playoff time. Should I be concerned though when it gets down to playoff time and it's one and done?

Maybe get some good wins with them and then possibly trade Thomas later in the season or just roll with it.

Should I be concerned about a bad game during the playoffs? I would have the opportunity to trade Thomas prior to playoff time to minimize the effect of a poorly played offensive performance, or I could keep Thomas just trust that the Bronco offense gets it done.

Come on bra, it's week 1. You've got the best tandem there is. Stop overthinking it.

Who would you trade him for that is immune from a bad game here and there?

Monitor the situation. If they have the division wrapped up, its feasible that one or both could sit or sit portions of games. If they are in a race for the division, you are money.

brah, you have gone full retard -

you want to trade a top 5 TE, who had a huge game last night and could easily be the No.1 TE this year, who is on an offense with Manning, who is looking at 5-10 targets a game - all this, after a stellar week 1, because you are worried that he might have a bad game in the fricking playoffs, which are 13 fricking weeks away?

I don't even...

No. I want to possibly trade him at the trade deadline for a running back 1 or so. My RB situation is a little weak.

I would like to do so in case the Manning offense hits the skids in the playoffs because it is one and done.

If I boosted my RB situation it may not be as good as my Manning Thomas tandem, but it also may prevent a bad game by the Broncos from getting me an early boot from the playoffs.

I am probably overthinking it though.

Like another poster said, monitor the situation. No one is parting with an RB1 for JThomas right now.

Yea PFM & DT88 fricked me in wk15 last year. Of course that was after Gronk & AD went down ON MY BYE WEEK 14 after I ran roughshod through the reg. season

Find the guy with Alex Smith and Bowe and offer one of them straight up. Maybe include a decent defense to sweeten the deal.

So with Manning sucking it up and J. Thomas being hurt and sucking the last couple of weeks I still was able to secure a bye, but lost in the second round of the playoffs. Now I'm playing for 3rd. Think I'm going to start Kelce over J Thomas.

Thoughts?

How has Thomas played in the past two weeks? Kelce is as fluky as they come and it's agonizing if you're doing it for the first time I like it now~

Julius Thomas appears to be fully healthy and 100% this week. It could help boost the passing game. When he plays he's a top 3-5 TE. I would play Thomas.
