I know this season just started but just thinking ahead, What do you think the starting O-line will be for next season? Obviously a lot depending on Jerald Hawkins and Vadal Alexander rather they stay or leave for the NFL. As well as do you guys think Jevonte was brought in to play or for depth.

LT-Ethan Potic/Jerald Hawkins (if returns)/Jevonte Domond
LG-Vadal Alexander (if returns)/Garrett Brumfield
C- Andy Dodd/ Will Clapp
RG- Josh Boutte/KJ Malone
RT- Jerald Hawkins (if returns) Ethan Potic/Jevonte Domond

I believe Jevonte has the best feet and is the most athletic of all the OL and is best suited to play LT and has the most upside but we all know he has not playing football that long so who knows. What are your thoughts & opinions and your starting line up!?!?!

The Oline is the only position that can stop LSU from making a strong charge for all the marbles in 2015. Let's hope it all comes together, because the rest of the lineup will be sick talented.

The only way Hawkins comes back is if he's guaranteed LT, IMO.

You really think Jonah Austin sees the field?

Supposedly he wants to go after this year, but I think that is the only way he would even think about coming back.

Probably true, I assume he will get a grade to help his decision, he has red shirted. Vadal gets accolades because he is in his 3rd year starting, but I'm not sure he is ready...but who knows.

is there any chance Evan Washington gets a 6th yr, a la Dworacyk? I noticed in his bio that after redshirting in 2010, he missed 2011 with an injury. granted he might not want to, just wondering.

It would be really nice if Washington came back but I doubt it happens

Clapp and Brumfield will play and probably both start, especially if Hawkins and Alexander both leave.

Is it just me or has Alexander underperformed this year?

Guess a lot depends on how the year goes. Did not play well for 3 quarters of Wisconsin game. Real tests are yet to come. I bet they step up.

He's always been a road grader, but he still suffers in pass protection. He almost got Jennings killed on the 94 yard TD throw to Dural.

M. Teheuma will start day one at one of the tackle positions. Also if we flip tillery like I am thinking will happen , he also may start day one.

IF we are starting 2 true freshman next season I feel bad for whoever the QB is.
