Forgive me for forgetting his name, but he is the QB for Catholic High of New Iberia and is committed to Ole Miss.

I don't know much about him. How good is the kid? Are we just looking at better prospects and will offer if others don't commit?

I was listening to Indest talk about him on a radio show the other day and he spoke highly of him. Indest said it was important for qbs to commit early because schools could take another QB and back away from the offer, so his guy needed to jump on the offer. Also when asked about LSU Indest said the difference in LSU and Ole miss was Ole miss offered and LSU didn't.

Sounded kind of to me like he may jump at a better offer if it comes his way, but also that they think this offer may be above his level so it needed to be jumped on quickly.

It would break my heart if my son had to play for ole miss. On the other hand he'd be assured of a hot gf so that's cool I guess.

I'm not convinced Pellerin is a QB on the SEC level. I dont think our coaches are either.

It's kind of the feeling I took from the interview with the comments about it being best to commit early if you are a QB. Obviously if you are a worthy QB you aren't afraid of another commit taking your spot at the table.

Is he a pocket passer? A scrambler? I've never seen him play.

Pelllerin is a dual threat guy. Think Dak Prescott, but a better athlete.

Not the passer Prescott is though. Not yet. Honestly, I'd probably take Pellerin over McMillan at this point. Still need to see more from both to make a firm opinion though

Honestly I thin kthe coaches are taking a "frick it, who cares?" approach to the 2015 QB class as we have 2 entirely capable QBs right now who are a sophomore and freshman and will have at least 1 if not 2 elite QBs coming in for 2016.

Former LSU O-lineman, Josh Dworczyk is a coach for CHS. They have a junior on their line that is 6'5", 312lbs. I graduated from high school with his mom. She told me he dreams of wearing the purple and gold...

I don't think that's the case at all. That's why you see dominoes falling pretty fast after a big time QB commit chooses a school and why most of the big time QB commits choose schools very early into the process.
