Just wow.

They didn't care what the score was or who we were playing... They went out there and played with something to prove.

Defensively, our young guys flew around and played fast and hit hard. They had wreck less abandon out there. And a nasty attitude that you gotta have to be a great D.

Offensively, there was no calling the dogs off. We put in our youngsters, and they didn't care that it was a blowout. They played like they were behind in the 3rd and there was no way to slow them down.

For a few years now, people in Louisiana have said the class of 2014 could be the best class ever. And from what I have seen so far... Well the potential is def there for that and to be a great team. We could be embarking on 3-4 very, very special years at LSU.

2015, 2016, and maybe even 2017 could be very special. And the 2016 class is crazy loaded as well. We will just reload.

Well... It's gonna be hard to deny some of these guys meaningful PT in a few weeks.

Agree 100 percent. This team has it. We maybe a little young to make noise this year but next year could be 2011 ish. Several people said that tonight in the stands when we weren't being yelled over by an idiot saying fournette is garbage and compared him to Reggie Bush. Even though I kept saying Reggie bush won the heisman trophy.

Yea. A little too young, especially at QB. But crazier things have happened and were talented enough to beat anyone IMO. Just depends on how fast these youngsters grow, especially when we start SEC play.

But next year, look out.

I'm going through the freshman that have impressed me so far in these first 2 games...

LF, Quinn, Godchaux, Adams, Dupre, Teuhema, Williams, Jamal Adams, Paris, Dodd, Harris, Gamble.

Am I forgetting anyone??

Dwayne Thomas played hard tonight as well. He makes plays as a nickel DB. Not many teams can say that they have a guy like that.

Love me some DT. Think he needs to be on the field more, but have no idea where to put him so he can get more PT because Tre White, RR, and Collins are really really good.

But DT is a 3rd year player. RS his 1st year. I'm talking more about our true freshman.

I know it was against SHSU, but in a few years it will be cool to look back and remember that Fournettee, Dupree, Williams and Harris all scored their first career touchdowns in the same game

4 true freshman scoring TDs in same game... impressive.

And Im with you. It was against an inferior opponent. But still, those young guys were out there with at attitude like they had something to prove.

Apparently we played 15 freshman, seems like a lot of shirts to burn, but if they are ready then guess you can't hold em back.

Meh... Kinda over redshirting players. Especially with so many guys going to the nfl early. Get them for 3 playing years, or 1 RS year +2 playing years. The "3 year removed from high school" = eligible for nfl draft is making the redshirt almost pointless.

If you are good enough to start for LSU as a freshman or sophomore, odds are you will be drafted.

Teuhema

Against SHS Teuhema sacked the QB (once when he was unblocked.). You're getting carried away.

Oh, and Deondre Clark is one you forgot.

I liked when Robinson chased down that guy that had broken away headed for a touchdown

he made catching him look so easy, as if he was toying with him

this guy is all world
