Racist BR police officer resigns

I'm sure this is an isolated mindset on the force.

Not only did he have inappropriate attitudes about the community he worked in, he was creating a bad work environment with his colleagues given that he had made remarks towards them as well. He needed to go.

Before even reading past the OP - I can predict the right wing racist apologists will respond with two arguments
1 - free speech. (Free speech means the department can't fire you for being a bigot, apparently.)

What we need to keep in mind is that this is in no way a reflection of systematic racism in the BRPD, in policing in general, and certainly not in society at large. This is the exception that proves the rule - the rule being that racism no longer exists (except black on white, of course).
