The canard of "how do you explain this to my kid"

This seems to be a convenient fallback for many folks. A common iteration is anything having to do with gays or gayness. e.g. "How will I explain to my kid that another kid in their class has two mommies". As if that were some sort of gargantuan task.
What gives? These folks are often the same ones teaching gun skills at incredibly early ages or watching war documentaries on History.
It's not hard. If your kid asks about 2 mommies, then you say "some kids have 2 mommies, you'll understand when you're older". Or if they are old enough, you say "some kids have 2 mommies because of [truthful explanation of the situation]".
Kids are not fragile, but evidently the psyches of many adult parents are ultra-fragile.

How do I explain the existence of dumb posts like the OP to my kids?

People use their kids to justify a lot of the intrusive and stupid things they do.

There are some people who want to avoid being a parent as long as they can. Even after they have a kid.

this.
i find that kids can understand complex concepts pretty easily, its the parents who get all icked out by it.

I have no problem explaining to the children that "two mommies" is an abomination and they are both going straight to hell.

It's not so much about how but why. I believe the actual question is more along the lines of "why on earth are we introducing this abomination to children?"

Not for me. I'm sure liberals will have a much more difficult go of it.

My explanation is something like this:
"No one has two mommies. Those people are living in sin and have chosen to live a life separate from God's will. You should love them just like you love everyone else in the world but be aware that living in sin will only cause you to be separate from God's will. The World has removed itself from God's grace but we are meant to be the light of the world and insert His love whenever possible. Maybe your witness can have a positive affect on their lives."
I'm sure soon I'll get arrested for telling my children such hateful things.

Yep.
Kids understand love. Just tell them they love each other and be done with it. It's not hard.

i dont even see why all that is necessary. Why not just tell your kid: "sometimes kids have two mommies, sometimes kids have step mommies and sometimes kids have no mommies. everyone is different."

So your definition of "mommy" is limited strictly to birth parentage?

limited to non-gays

Well, there you guy. Presumably that means you are onboard with me in labeling the parents who are afraid as being fragile wimps.

Religion.

Sure, but I prefer the term "limp-wristed liberal."

So someone CAN have 2 straight mommies?

people who don't accept gays are going to FSM hell, where fly spaghetti monster will make them suck dicks all day long, and then dance around in rainbow hot pants, and a shirt that says "Cum Slut" on it.

It's better than the other extreme
"where dat boy at, its 2 o clock in tha morning"
so many parents who take no interest, give no effort, they have kids for the wrong reasons or because don't mean to. (that's not always bad, but you understand)
Over protective is better than zero fricks given
also, don't let your kid watch the NFL, put on some Jonas brothers and let them watch crotch for 30 minutes
