Haven't been in probably 10 years. What should I get? A client wants to meet there.

I think the etouffee is pretty good. The burgers and onion rings are good too. They also make their own chips if you'd prefer that as a side. Plate lunch is usually solid. I used to live close to the LC location and ate there regularly.

Its terrible. All of their food is geared towards old people, so everything is not seasoned.

Its not terrible but it's not great either. Get the plate lunch and you'll be fine. Don't go in expecting anything stellar.

Really good, cute waitress. Kind of awful decor (I went to the one in Moss Bluff). Fries were good and the fried fish was decent. Overcooked hushpuppies (very, very overcooked). Very unimpressed. I wished I'd gone with one of their specials. The meatloaf looked really good and probably half of the dining room was having it.
Basically, I wouldn't hate going again if someone really wanted to go, but I wouldn't choose it or recommend it.

I can't believe that place is still open. It seemed to change quite a bit of times when I was in LC. I remember them having a pretty good burger though.
