most bars/restaurants will automatically add gratuity to your bills

there is a great Haitian spot called Tap Tap and the food was crazy good

there are lots of clubs....i did not go to one

Hookers and Blow

Only been for work. Stayed in what seemed like a shitty part of town. Felt like I was in a different country most of the time.

We're headed there for the little sis's 21st (no pics). She's practically fluent in Spanish, so I'm covered. Should be a good time.

From Oct 1st-5th. Wed-Sun.
Enjoy some beach time. Eat some good food, and I'm sure party our faces off. Haha. It was her choice to go to Miami. She'll probably want to club it up I'm sure. Kids these days lol

Wednesday night you will have to look for a place to party. Wednesday night hotspot varies by week a lot. I don't go out on SOBE during the week except on a rare occasion, so I suggest asking a concierge at the hotel or at a SOBE hotel.

Hotel bar scene at Delano or Hyde (SLS) which is right next door on 17th and 18th have excellent concierge and a great hotel bar scene so that would be my suggestion on starting the night. Both are upscale and expense as hell though (think $18 for vodka cran or $26 for a mojito) so I wouldn't plan on drinking there.

Best bets for clubs those nights are probably Shore Club or Cameo. Though I'm really not sure since I don't do SOBE during the week anymore.

Really, Mangos is a good place to start. Touristy and all, but really cool and a lot of fun most nights.

Story is a good bet for Friday or Saturday if you want to hit an upscale dance club hard. There is of course LiV, but it is overrated and overpriced IMO. Eden Roc bar is fun on Sat night though.

SLS at Hyde is the best pool party on SOBE on a Saturday. Vegas style pool party on the beach on 18th. I'm there a good bit on Saturdays.

Clevelander is hit or miss after 2-3 pm on a weekend. Sometimes it is great, sometimes really slow.

Nicki Beach is the place for a Sunday beach party.

Eleven is interesting and depends on how you feel about a quasi strip club. It is good any night of the week and is 24-7 (never closes). It is new and super nice and pretty kick arse. Amazing light show and sound system. Very upscale. It has topless dancers (all other strip clubs in Miami are full nude) and is a cross between a regular club and strip club. If your open to that, it is fun and lots of club girls in there, not just strippers.

Personally I like the Hard Rock bars and clubs as well on a Thurs-Sat, but you are about a $60 cab ride each way from there.

I live just north of north Miami beach. I like doing pool parties and such on SOBE most weekends in the summer so I'm pretty familiar.

And I like the hardrock casino, bars, and clubs since I'm far enough north for that. Especially if I want to go out on like a Thurs.
