Does all the love we are getting make anyone extremely nervous?

Maybe its living through some of the truly terrible Saints years, but its still hard sometimes to get used to how good we are now. The chicken little in my soul is just waiting for things to go wrong.

This morning on the ride into work I was flipping radio stations and I got to Mike and Mike. I stopped because they were picking NFC winners. Greenberg picked the Saints. Schlereth picked the Saints. Golic had the Saints in his top 3 but went Eagles, and said he would not be surprised at all if the Saints won the NFC (along with Seattle).

MMQB has a bunch of writers picking the Saints. I've heard multiple other personalities picking us.

I mean, that's awesome and all, but for some reason that just makes this first game all the more nerve wracking to me. Am I alone in this?

No, I'm fine with it. It doesn't matter. Everyone picked Seattle last year and it came to fruition. I'm not nervous about the season. I think we'll do well. If we slip up, I have plenty else going on in my life, so no anxiety. I'm just going to enjoy football.

There's really no reason to believe anyone can stop us this season, so I'm ok with the hype train.

Our team will be full of swagg and under SP I've never worried about their focus or intensity.

I don't know. But I picked up our defense in fantasy. We better wreck shite.

I feel like if we weren't getting so much love then everyone will be complaining about how we are always overlooked and disrespected

This

Living and working in Atlanta with a ton of friends who are Falcons fans makes it a little more difficult though.

I'm nervous about the Falcons game. Always close and they have Julio and Roddy back healthy. Ryan is a stud despite the popular opinion on this board. I still think we win but it won't be a cakewalk like many think

No.

After bountygate and wiregate I tune all these media sh!t heads out.

See M Sams for latest sports media BS.

Just win the next game, fight for home field and get in the playoffs.

This super bowl is in the bag. I'm more concerned about the 3 peat.

No, because unlike other hyped teams, the Saints have substance, depth and an incredibly solid braintrust in Drew Brees, Sean Payton, Rob Ryan and Pete Carmichael. It will just come down to execution and getting a little luck having the NFC go through New Orleans in the playoffs. But this team is a Super Bowl contender.

Nope, because I know how good we've been and believe this is our most talented team ever. Barring injury, a Saints/Seahawks NFCCG has a very high probability of happening. Let's just hope we get them here this time

It's funny... The people who hate the Michael Sam media stuff are the ones who can't help bring him up in a thread that has nothing to do with him. Interesting....

For now, yes.

I just have trouble getting comfortable with our "unknowns" until I see an actual game.

1.) We feel that our run game will be better, but this is still up in the air.

2.) We are thinner at cornerback this year, everything rests on Lewis staying healthy.

3.) I see great things in Cooks' future, but he has yet to catch a ball from Brees. Oh, and Stills is hurt, so it's a little less additive.

I just gotta see an actual game.

Not nervous. I don't put much stock in what the talking heads say. Actions on the field speak louder. I'm quietly confident.

they were underdogs on a micro level. Not the macro level being discussed at the moment.

there are maybe 7 teams that can win the super bowl this year. If you aren't in that 7, chances are you aren't going to win it. So being an underdog is not a good thing imo
