No......Reason being is guys on our team with that confident pride, but yet not arrogant.......It starts with Payton and rolls onto guys on O like Brees, Colston, Armstead, & Strief, and heck even Ingram with the way he's been running since end of last year and guys on D like Vaccarro, Byrd, Lewis, Galette, Hicks, & Jordan are who I'm talking about.....The guys that know they're damn good but still have that chip on their shoulder and still are hungry enough & most of all smart enough to know that each game is a challenge and are more than ready to rise up to the challenge.

Not really. Our defense will be even better, our schedule has our tough match ups at home, and we have DB and the offense. Championship year motherfrickers

there are maybe 7 teams that can win the super bowl this year. If you aren't in that 7, chances are you aren't going to win it. So being an underdog is not a good thing imo

This is a valid point. However, the Saints were preseason ranked #22 going into 2009.

With that said, more often then not, a team in the bottom 10 won't make a run.

Yes
The schedule is difficult with a lot of road games this month
There are holes on this team and CB still has me worried - the Saints are one CB Kenan Lewis injury away which is a scary thought.
Sure the offense can outscore anyone but to survive and advance in the playoffs your not going to outscore everyone

And one QB injury away.
And one OT injury away.
And one TE injury way.

We have a lot of depth.
But every team has potential injuries that frick them.

I don't like playing a big divisional game right off the bat... too much at stake. I'd rather see them get a couple games under their belt before having to play a game that is guaranteed to matter at the end of the season.

Our schedule is actually fairly easy

You can say this about any team and position. The team doesn't have holes outside of LBer.

They're built to do both.

Yeah I don't see why we have to play ATL so early.

IIRC we didn't play them until week 9 in 2012 ad around that time in 2011.

We are def the Flavor of the Month. I would much prefer to be somewhat underdogs . It all starts Sunday without home field we have no chance IMO

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the only want to advance in the playoffs. Unless something has changed, the team that doesn't outscore the opponent doesn't advance.

they were underdogs on a micro level. Not the macro level being discussed at the moment.

How are they being discussed at the moment?

They went 8-8 the previous year. Eli was considered Meh. I don't think anyone considered them a contender.
