you want to blame him for something that has its roots in things that happened before Obama was even born and in reality has its roots in biblical events?

In Iraq, yes. He wanted to get out to have something to gloat about for his second term IMO. Remember , their success in Iraq was supposed to be their greatest achievement(Biden)...Well, that void got filled.

Has to be a TD first.

Anyway, the blame is on Obama for underestimating Isis and comparing them to a JV team and he's having a very poor response to it so far and I doubt we'll see a coherent and coordinated response for a little bit more.

Bush is the one that created the vacuum of power in Iraq that Isis is trying to fill though.

Eh. Obama armed them through Libya and then enabled them through Syria and then downplayed them in Iraq.

The proximate cause is Islamic radicalism, however. And neither Bush nor Obama are responsible for that.

Does he bear some responsibility, sure.

100% responsible? Not even close.

Obama certainly is deserving of some blame for the current situation, but I couldn't in good faith say he's deserves most or even much blame for the crisis. There's too many varying factors that have contributed to this situation and most of which are outside the control of the American president. Disagreeing with his policies or conduct in dealing with crises does not require one to assign him the blame.

I will say that people like John McCain equally would have empowered ISIS in the region and fricked up that region had they had it their way, perhaps even more so.

ISIS sprung out of Al Qaeda in Iraq. The Syrian civil war led to their opportunity to split and expand so immensely in power and influence. Not everything in the world is America's fault all the time.

This OP is extremely hackish. No different than most of the liberal posts which blame Bush and Republicans for similar situations.

Can we all agree that when someone starts a post with "Can we all agree" that there will be imminent disagreement?
