So, I was watching this mediocre horror flick called 'At the Devil's Door' and there's a scene where this girl is wearing headphones and listening to music in her room then she gets possessed. The music she was listening to sounded like some cool 80's new age song I had forgotten about but I liked it and was trying to find it. The lyrics said something like 'how will you break under pressure'.

Anyway, so as the credits roll I look at the music listing and see the song. It says 'Break Under Pressure' written by James Curd & (some girl I forgot to write her name down). Performed by 'Jerry's Diner'.

But after a couple of days trying I can't even find this band existing in cyberspace much less any reference to a song with the words 'under pressure' anywhere near it that doesn't immediately get 30k hits to Queen.

It's been really bothering me, so I come here to see if any of you maybe are more lucky than me.

Thanks

I found James Curd and it looks like he's a DJ, so it's possible that he sampled an 80s song. I can't find any reference to this other than the movie, though. So, it sounds like it was made just for the movie.

Yeah, I think maybe something like this is whats going on I guess. But still, you'd think in this day and age the band or group that got together and played the remix would be pimping their stuff or something. Oh well, thanks for the effort guys!

It's called "Don't Worry Be Happy" by Bobby McFerrin. Good tune.

Confused. Are you looking for Jerry's Diner - "Break under Pressure?"

Part of the background vocals made me think of Supergrass - Kiss of Life
