What is biggest over-reaction you have ever seen?

I witnessed these events unfold in the University Hospital in NOLA. A faith healer high profile pastor died during a routine angioplasty. In 15 yrs of medical practice the cardiovascular surgeon had never lost a patient. He was in shock. The pastor's wife was with him trying to console the MD and two young daughters they had together. That part was strange but to this point everything was manageable.
Evidently his entourage was so confident in this man's ability to name it and claim it that they counted the surgery as completely successful and had gone to get a bite to eat. When they arrived at the hospital and learned he was in fact dead they all passed out in the hall way by the OR elevators. They took up the entire floor. We had to get security to get them up. That group and the wife got themselves together and demanded to have prayer vigil over him to bring him back from the dead. I told them if it worked I would join their church.
The next group had to drive over from BR. By that time they had already moved him to the morgue. Homeboys flipped out when we wouldn't let them see him. The next in line had the annointing placed on him by the dearly departed prior to leaving BR in case something went wrong. This dude swore he would lay hands on him and raise him from the dead. They were sorely disappointed they did not receive that opportunity. They literally wanted us to escort a dozen brothers into the morgue for this service. Truly humorous and very sad scene at the same time.

It's hard to call it an overreaction when someone freaking died. People are allowed to lose it then.

maybe you should have let them.
Maybe they had the shining or something. You could have been reporting a miracle here.

The morticians are stingy with their bodies once they get a toe tag on them. I tried to make it happen and was told by the head of security that unless it was the President of the US, we were not allowed to let unauthorized individuals in the morgue.

Jones and I were at a Saints game, and a man ordered a ton of shite. They gave him a tray with his drinks (which they remove caps from in the Dome) and nachos and stuff, and he also had popcorn and other drinks and candy in his hands. Instead of making two trips, he attempted to carry it all.
Of course, he immediately dropped a few things. He got so irate over this, that he took the remainder of the shite he had and slammed it onto the ground as well. He lost probably $60+ worth of shite.
Then he turns around and starts yelling at the concession stand girl (like she had something to do with it). I tapped his shoulder and told him it's not her fault, and he shouldn't yell at her.
He basically whimpers, "You're right.." and walks off.
I really felt for the guy, but shite man.. ask someone for help, make two trips, bring someone else from your party with you, something.

How about Wanda Webb Holloway? She's that woman from Texas who tried to hire a hitman to kill the mother of her daughter's junior high school cheerleading rival.

And you're one of the main one's that it bothers. Thanks for proving my point.
