Any real hacker sophisticated enough to pull this off would never be caught that easily. Even if he's trying to set up a defense. He better be able to deal and lead the fbi down the right rabbit hole if he wants to keep himself out of for.

Not sure if I'm buying that he was able to make public comments just yet, assuming he was chained to a desk fairly recently. And no attorney worth his salt would allow a client to make public statements like this. Unless the entire scenario is just one big cluster and no one will know the full truth for days/weeks.

I actually do believe him that he was just one of the many that piggybacked off the original leak and tried to make a quick buck. He was just the only dumbfrick stupid enough to have identifying info on his screenshots.
