2015 ... is McNeese really the opening game ? Sept 5 ?

After getting home from another fun filled " neutral field adventure " was curious as to next years opening game and noticed it was SEPT 5 vs McNeese
so LSU isnt playing the first week of college football next year ? everyone else has games for the last weekend in August as usual ...

We have only 3 OOC games scheduled for next season, obviously we're looking for a 4th.
Personally I hope it's another big opening game, because Syracuse is garbage.

LSU is leaving the SEC. They'll finish the year 3-0 and be invited to the playoff.

I believe college football starts labor day wknd. Next year, Labor Day is Sept 7. This year just happens to fall on Sept 1, giving the first wknd August dates.

Sorry to bump a few day old post. But i was just wondering about who LSU would open next season with. Is McNeese official and set? Can it be changed or anything?
